How would I get my stories published in top ranked magazines?

For context, I have a MA in creative writing, I’ve done a couple of writing residencies, I’ve worked as an editor for a while, I’ve a big portfolio of work, and I make sure to send out a few short stories a month and I haven’t been rejected by anyone in 6 months except for the top tier magazines. I’ve read the submission guidelines and I conform to them. I also read the magazines I’m submitting to, and I’ve read the interviews of their editors. They publish work just like mine. One top magazine commented that my writing was ‘extremely strong’ but they didn’t think it was for them. I’ve had a small success in that a big magazine published a short poem of mine and I was paid for it. I’ve also started to get interest from literary agents in my short stories. Just not the magazines. I don’t see any issue with the quality of my work or its relevance to the publication, the content and style is always right no matter what magazine I submit to, the quality of my work is strong, I’m a seasoned writer with plenty of experience, and I’m working at the level of published writers.

Do you know of any strategies or ways that would help me get my stories published in top magazines? I’m talking the level of The New Yorker, Granta, The Paris Review, Tin House etc. I’ve already had stories published in good magazines but I’m essentially done with the smaller ones and I want to publish in the top ranked ones. I’d also love to hear from anyone who has successfully done this.
