What did Aldrich Ames think when he realized his wife was also a KGB agent?

I'm pretty sure she was also a KGB agent who was "placed" with him.<br><br>As far as I know, nothing more was really said about this after the news broke, but part of Ames' guilty plea was that he could not divulge anything more than what was told to him about the CIA. <br><br>I guess that means we won't really know what he thinks about it.
