Amazon will pay $30 million to settle Alexa voice recording lawsuit

Amazon agreed on Tuesday to pay $30 million to settle lawsuits with 31 states claiming that it misled customers of its Alexa virtual assistant into thinking that it was not recording voice communications even when not being actively used, according to reports.
