Occlusion and lack of common sense

AI has trouble understanding the world around us. This is why it is very immature and not ready for us. <br><br>I've recently discovered that the chat I use for coding has a problem understanding occlusion, where an AI cannot understand that an object is hidden behind another object. I've recently discovered that AI has a big problem with understanding physics. <br><br>I am currently talking to an AI that completely ignores the physics of a situation and tells me that an object will be in two places at once. <br><br>What do you think is the reason for this thing about AI not being able to understand the world around us? Is this a problem that can be fixed?
