Well, I'm a second year student at the university, studying mobile app development. I've always got ideas for apps floating around in my mind. I thought I'd jot down the ideas that I have now. I thought why not post it here before I forget...

Many of these ideas I have came to me while solving problems I was facing in my day-to-day life. I have thought about these ideas quite a bit and I thought I'd sometimes make an app for those ideas if I've got some free time. But, I've not made any apps for those ideas yet. I've got app ideas for:

- A delivery app for my university's cafeteria.
- An app to help students find parking spots for their cars in the university.
- An app for students to swap things they no longer need or are too big for them to carry back home. For e.g. some people have brought big pillows from home to university and are looking to get rid of them. Similarly, some people have big mattresses brought from home that are too big for them to take with them back home. The app idea is that you can swap things like these in exchange for other things you need, examples include clothes, shoes, spoons, forks, knives etc.
- An app to check the availability of tables in the library. Some days in exam season, the library is very busy and you have to look for a table to sit on from the first floor all the way to the 6th floor. I thought why not make an app that shows what tables are available and occupied. We could use Bluetooth sensors to see if a person with the app is sat on a table without logging onto the app.
- An app to make a note of books you read for school or university that you don't need to read again. You can make a note of the important pages you read from a book and whether you liked a book or not.
- An app to always keep the screen awake when you are reading a book on your tablet. I have to always click the screen every few seconds to keep the screen awake and I thought why not make an app to keep the screen awake for me.
- An app to connect to your phone hotspot and make calls using your computer. Sometimes, when you're eating food and watching a video or something, you have to get up and answer the call that you got on your phone and you can't get up from the table because you're eating food. I thought why not make an app that lets you connect to your phone hotspot and make calls using your computer.
- An app that transcribes, from speech to text, voice notes you take in google keep or any other voice notes taking app.
- An app to check the time of buses of your city. I take buses to university everyday and I thought why not make an app that shows the live time of the bus at a particular bus stop. You can enter your bus stop and see the live time of buses that arrive and depart at that bus stop. You can also make an account on the app to save your bus stop and the buses you take everyday and see their timings.
- An app to make notes for a lecture and send them to all students missing a particular lecture. I had to miss lectures in my first year because of health reasons related to my stomach. I thought why not make an app that students can make an account and log on to for a particular module they're taking. If they miss a module due to health reasons, they can request notes of the lecture and sometimes students will upload the lecture notes to the app and all students taking a particular module can see the notes.
- An app to make notes during a work meeting. When you're in a meeting, many things are discussed and you've got to write down all the things discussed and make notes. I thought why not make an app to make notes during a meeting.

These are the app ideas I have for now!
