How would you approach this "I'm not doing anything with my life" problem?

I'm 17 going on 18. I'm at the end of high school. I'm a pretty bright kid. I take advanced classes and I'm not a procrastinator at all.

I feel like I've accomplished nothing in my life and I'm about to turn 18. I haven't done anything impressive in any way. I've had no truly great experiences. I've never accomplished anything big. I feel like I've been drifting straight forward my entire life, with no idea of what is ahead. I don't feel like I've learned much about the world, I don't have a career path in mind, and I don't really know how to properly interact with adults, or even people my own age. I also don't have much motivation to put myself out there and try new things. I have a little bit, but it isn't enough to actually change anything.

I feel like I'm in a rut that I can't get out of, and I've been in it for as long as I can remember, and I don't want to be in this rut anymore.

How would you approach this "I'm not doing anything with my life" problem?

What did you do when you felt like you were in this situation?

How did you get the motivation to get out of it?
