I'm 20 and I still haven't had a friend in my life

I'm 20 years old and even though I've gone through high school and have been in college for 2 years, I've never really had a real friend in my entire life.<br><br>I know it sounds pathetic but I have no social life and no friends outside of college. I've always been alone since childhood. I was always that kid who played alone at recess and who no one wanted to associate with.<br><br>I graduated high school with zero friends. I had no one to share my excitement with on the last day of school or celebrate with. I'm about to enter my last year of college and I still have no friends. I don't like to be alone but that's how life works I guess.<br><br>I don't know if anyone else has gone through something similar, but I just wanted to know what it's like to have real friends.<br><br>Edit: Thank you for your comments and DMs. I appreciate the support.
