I didn’t used to. I hit maintenance and I thought I could go back to it. But this time around it’s hard. I’m a dessert eater. I’m not a huge fan of veggies but I can eat them out of a container. I think I’m going back to preparing my meals the day before. I feel like I can control my intake better and I just feel more satisfied when my food isn’t days old

Edit: I realize now this post wasn’t all the best. I think the issue is when I prep meals I’m always like “and this for my lunch too, and that’s for dinner” food just to take up space. I know I’m going over maintenance eating all that food I don’t need. I’m going to take the advice of one poster and start writing down everything. I’ve done this before. It shows me my weak areas and I can see every calorie I’m taking in. Traveling a lot and being on vacation also destroyed my routine too, once I get better established with cooking and working out again, I think I will be able to stick to a plan, and not feel derailed by life events that interrupt my routine. Thank you all for the feedback.
