I am middle Eastern, my current company is American. As of this month, they are mandatorily checking for AI usage. I feel that this is an attack on my right to usage privacy

Growing up in the middle East, I grew up to be very scared of surveillance. I am 25 now and just recently moved to America to join a company. I'm a software engineer and I have been for more than four years now, I love my work and I have never been late or missed any deadlines, my review is excellent and I am liked by everyone who knows me. In my free time, I work on side projects that can potentially fund my life, and I work on a blog to help people in my country learn programming.

I just found out that my company is mandatorily checking for AI usage. This is such a huge attack on my privacy, right? I feel bad because I have to be the one to talk about this issue. I currently live in America, most of my colleagues are American, they get this kind of treatment in the US where it's acceptable to be checked without consent. This is not the case for ME, people who grow up in the middle east are prone to surveillance. The government keeps watching you, your neighbors are snitching on you, your school teacher is taking your phone and reading your messages, and your parents usually monitor your internet usage. I feel like I'm being punished for my background, I feel like I don't belong in the world because I am not allowed to be privacy-oriented. I don't know what to do, idk how to talk to my manager about this. I feel like I should just look for another job.
