I’m driving down the highway and I see an older gentleman who is trying to change his tire in the middle lane of a 4 lane street. I can’t believe no one is stopping to help this guy. I pull over and park behind him. I help this guy change his tire and we get to chatting. He is from Brazil and is on a road trip from San Francisco to New York. We get done changing his tire and hop in our cars to leave. I notice there is a car tailgating me and honking. Is this weird as hell? I thought I just did a good deed.

Edit: I guess I didn’t specify that we were parked in the middle lane of the highway in our cars. There was no where to pull over, but it was 9am and the highway was not busy at all. Furthermore, I didn’t just change his tire I helped this guy change his tire.

Edit 2: I realize now I should have just recorded video of me changing his tire and posted on tiktok.

It did, however, feel amazing to help someone in need with no expectation of a reward.
