CMV: The only demographic you can shamelessly, openly (and rightfully) discriminate against without losing your job and business is old people.

Most of you will probably think this is a troll (and maybe you're right) but my reasoning is as follows:

Ageism is the last remaining socially acceptable form of prejudice and discrimination. We all like to rationalize it as a way to enhance mobility (wink-wink), but in reality, it is a lie. Like any other form of prejudice and discrimination against sexual, racial or religious groups, ageism is just as wrong as homophobia or racism. It doesn't matter how much experience you have in your profession or how much wisdom you've acquired along the way; if you're 60 years old, you're not hired, or worse, you're not allowed on a plane. This is the case with a lot of old people. If you're 75 years old, you have nothing going on besides your grandkids, which you can't even visit because you're too "vulnerable", because even though you're going to die from the flu, you're not even allowed to get it because the world would end. Seriously, is there a bigger injustice than to waste someone's hard work and savings and isolate them at the end of their lives? It's true that the elderly are at greater risk for the virus, but even compared to the risk of middle-aged adults, the risk of an elderly person is not that much higher, and considering the harm that comes from isolating the elderly, why do we always create an "us (the young) against them (the elderly)" mindset?

Edit: I'm not getting downvoted because I'm wrong, but because you're pissed off that I'm right.
