The death penalty is inherently contradictory. Not only does it fail to prevent crime, but it encourages it. If a person is already sentenced to death, what is stopping them from killing another person, or several? The risk of being punished for a crime is something that isn't a factor for people on death row.

The death penalty not only doesn't prevent crime, but it encourage criminals who are already sentenced to death to commit more crime.

The death penalty is obviously extremely inhumane and violates a person's right to life. It doesn't matter what a person has done, they are still a human being with a right to human dignity, and to be treated as such.

Plus, it is extremely expensive and inefficient.

If you support the death penalty, you are less than a human being. You are not capable of compassion, empathy, and human decency. You are objectively and morally wrong. Your actions and views are so heinous that calling you less than a human being would be doing you a favor.

If you are able to change my view, I will no longer be a human being.
