What are some economic myths people believe that you wish they would just stop?

I'll go first:<br><br>1. People who say socialism always leads to communism. For example, every single Scandinavian country is capitalist, yet also has a socialist government. (Not to be confused with democratic socialism, which is just communism with a different name.)<br><br><br>2. People who say you need to do what you love as a career or you'll never be fulfilled. The reality is around 80% of people hate their jobs. The way it's phrased makes it sound as if doing what you love will automatically lead to happiness when in reality most people just want to go to work for 8 hours a day and get paid enough to live a comfortable life off of. Only a select few are actually passionate enough or intelligent enough to be paid for doing what they love. I know this sounds obvious but there are plenty of examples of companies that fail from following it.
