The best part is they claim to be against US imperialism, yet they're defending the USSR, a communist empire that invaded and oppressed countless nations.

One and the same, just a different ideology. Both empires are trash, and we all know that no one should have to live under the boot of an oppressor, whether that be from Washington or Moscow. The US and the USSR have been the centers of-capitalism/communism for decades, and have constantly invaded and oppressed nations whenever they could. Why defend either? Why say either is better than the other? The US didn't invade Afghanistan, the USSR did. The US didn't invade Poland, the USSR did. The US didn't invade Czechoslovakia, the USSR did. <br><br>And in the end, the USSR was dissolved, all the invaders kicked out, and those countries are able to join NATO and the EU if they want, and generally become capitalistic and democratic. The US did the same thing in Germany and Japan, but everyone remembers the USSR's atrocities and not the US's. The US is not the only crappy imperialistic empire.
