A mod is not a scientist

I'm a bit tired of seeing people put their faith in unnamed mods who work in AI in this sub. The mods are not experts and they have no insider information. This sub is dedicated to the discussion of tech related to artificial general intelligence, and the social and philosophical impacts of its development. We're grateful to have so many people being a part of this community, and we're proud of the depth of knowledge and level of discourse that has developed here. Just because we're called a technology sub doesn't mean that the mods are nerds with super special information. Just because people believe we have insider information doesn't make it true.
