My(M27) wife(F29) lost our(RM26 and RF28) son because of her reckless behavior. Now she won’t let me out of her sight even though I’m furious with her.

Our son was a result of a dirty night out 3 years ago. My wife and I went out to a club with her friend, “Lola”. Lola went to our university, she’s 2 years older than us. My wife and her got drunk and Lola suggested we get an Uber and go to her place to continue drinking. I wasn’t too comfortable with the idea because of the awkwardness of the situation(especially with my wife there) but she convinced me to go.<br><br>We went to her place, got more drinks and played some games and the night was going great for the most part, until we ran out of beer. Lola offered to go buy more but I said I’d go instead since it was rude for her to miss out on the fun just to get us beer. My wife offered to go with me and I said there’s no need and she can stay with Lola. They were having a great time together and it would’ve been a waste for her to go, plus it was 3am and I didn’t want to take her out that late.<br><br>But my wife was being stubborn and said she wanted to go and I said fine but I’m driving. Lola offered to give us a ride because she said I was too drunk to drive and I didn’t wanna risk getting a DUI so I said okay. On the way to the liquor store, I asked her to stop at a gas station so I can go pee real quick. She said okay and when we got there I went to the bathroom and then came back. When I came back she acted like she didn’t see me and drove away. I was in shock at first but then she called me and asked where I was and I told her I was behind her and she said she didn’t see me. I was confused as to how she didn’t see me but I thought maybe she was just too out of it to see me. I had to walk to the liquor store and get a cab to come back to her place.<br><br>When I got back Lola and my wife were in her room with the door closed and the music stopped. I thought that was weird but assumed they just didn’t hear me come in and went to check on them. When I opened the door I saw my wife riding Lola. I was in shock and I yelled “what the fuck?!?”. My wife came running to me and begged me not to leave her and said it didn’t mean anything and she was just curious and “it doesn’t count if it’s a girl, right?”. I told her I had to go home and she followed me. When we got home she wouldn’t stop apologizing and crying and begging me to forgive her so I did.<br><br>After that I started noticing my wife flirting with other girls and them flirting back. One day I came home early from work and caught her in the act with another girl. This time I left the apartment and went to my parents for the night. I came back the next day and she was crying saying she can’t live without me and she’ll do anything if I just stay with her. I told her I’d stay but she has to stop and she said of course she will.<br><br>A few months later she got pregnant. I was confused at first but didn’t want to bring it up. A few months after our son was born someone at work told me he saw my wife at a bar with 2 girls and they looked like they were having a great time. I again left the house and came back the next day. We sat on a bench and were talking when a girl around my age came and sat next to my wife with her 2 boys. The boys were playing with mine so the moms started talking. My wife seemed friendly with her but nothing seemed off until she asked me to go buy ice cream for the kids. I said okay but told her to go with me because we haven’t spent time together in a while. She said okay but then the other girl said why don’t we all go so the boys can play together. I didn’t think much of it but figured sure why not. The other girl paid for all the kids’ ice cream and the bottle of wine she brought for the moms so I offered to pay for pizza for all of us. The other girl said no need but if I insist then the moms should go and order it since it’s far and we can’t leave the kids alone.<br><br>Again, I didn’t think much of it. Until I got back from ordering the pizza and I couldn’t find my wife anywhere. I asked the other girl and she said they went to her car to pump her bottle fed baby. I looked and couldn’t find her car so I asked her to show me and when she did there was no one in the car. I asked where they really were and she laughed and said they’re probably at her house. I asked how they got there and she said she drove them. I was like but I asked you to show me her car so we can go get our sons and she said she meant the car they drove there in. I was lost and asked her to tell me the truth before I call the police.<br><br>She told me my wife asked her to pick her and Lola up and drop them off at her house and she agreed since she knew I’d leave if I found out. I was lost and asked who Lola was and she told me it was her friends name. I asked the license plate of her car and called the police and reported it. They found my wife and Lola’s house and they were taken to the station. They were arrested and held overnight and I bailed them out the next day.<br><br>She had tears in her eyes and apologized and promised she wouldn’t do it again. I told her I wasn’t going to leave her because I loved her but I can’t trust her anymore and I don’t want to take the risk of her doing this again. When we got home she told me to go pick up the kids and when I got back she told me that from now on, she won’t let me out of her sight. For a week now she follows me everywhere, she even comes with me to work and sits in the break room while I work. I’m sick of her and I hate her for putting me through this. She’s been clinging onto me and following me everywhere and I don’t know where she got the audacity to do that.
