I read too many posts on this chamber from people that think they're too old to become fluent.<br><br>I'm 41 and I started German when I was 39 with zero background knowledge of German and I'm getting closer to fluency every day. I've dedicated 2 hours a day to it and I speak fluently. I've taken several classes, hired a tutor, practiced in Germany, taken language exchange partners, studied grammar, listened to German audio, and watched tons of TV and movies. It's possible and it's fun. Go for it!<br><br>Edit: Thank you everyone for the kind comments and awards! Much appreciated!
