How to build a Chinese fantasy world?

First of all, sorry for the rambling. I'm new to WorldBuilding and my English isn't native, I'm a Chinese. <br>At first I tried to build a world based on European fantasy elements, but I finally gave up as I found that it wasn't my cup of tea. <br>I started my second attempt again and this time I want to build a world based on Chinese mythology which includes magic, mythical creatures, gods and supernatural beings, but I can't guarantee that it will work out as it's a long and hard road to walk on. <br><br>Maybe I could get some tips or advice from this community.<br>Thanks in advance.
