It took me a while to get the booster in Ottawa because I was traveling for the holidays and then I had to wait two months after my third shot.

It took some time to finish the paperwork, but the process was painless once it was done. Now I'm glad that I got my fourth shot because new subvariants of COVID-19 are spreading rapidly, such as XBB.1.5.

If you have a chronic illness, you should try to get your first booster now if you haven't already because there is a risk that clinics may close during the spring or summer months.

After that, who knows when they will re-open or how easy it will be for you to access if you are immunocompromised.

Stay safe.
