Ok, so what happens now that guns are in the supreme court?

Title basically says it. I dont know much about the supreme court and further, but what i do know is that it seems like the supreme court is like the highest authority in the land, essentially over the other branches of government, and that the supreme court is deciding the fate of guns. So what does that mean for you and I? Does it mean that legally, nobody can take our guns? What exactly are they deciding on?
