Yeah, so I'm 25 I work at one of the top three consulting firms. I just received the news that I got a promotion and a job at a different location. I had no idea I would be able to get a job that far up on the corporate ladder so soon (the job is in the 125k/year range, all expenses paid). First of all the catch, I'll have to move away from my family. This is a new experience for me since the city I'll be moving to is 850 miles away from our home and I've never experienced living in a different city. My parents, sister, and I live in a huge house, family manor style. We bought a new property when I was about 12 years old because we kept growing as a family and the small 3 bedroom and 2 bathroom house we lived in before wasn't enough. The property we live in now is a 10 bed, 8 bathroom house and with so much land that we can play our own polo games on it (we're pretty big polo fans in my family). It has a pool, a basketball court, etc. Plus a pond where we go fishing sometimes. So I'll miss my family's house a lot since we're very close and this will be the farthest way from them ever. We always have so much fun together at home and spend a good amount of time together as a family. I feel so sad that I won't be able to be with them in our lovely home anymore and I'll have to live alone in a new place that I don't know anything about. I don't know how I'll be able to cope with this but I'll try my best. Anyway I just needed to vent. Hopefully everything goes well, but I'll miss my family terribly.
