It should be illegal to be able to buy land to sell it at a higher price

The only time I believe in land owning is to use it for something. It’s completely useless to buy land and then lock it up to sell it at a higher price.<br>It can cause inflation in an area, or cause companies to not move into the area because they cannot get a hold of land to build whatever it is they need<br>You either own the land to use it for something, or you don’t own land. <br>This would also help prevent gentrification in areas because it would no longer be profitable to buy up homes for no reason in poorer areas
