So last night, it's 3am and I'm walking home from a party. No big deal, I've done it a million times before, it's like... 1.5 km distance and I always take the same route. I'm not drunk, just a little tipsy to feel more at ease, but not much.

As I'm walking down the street, I notice a guy walking ahead of me, maybe 20 meters ahead of me. That's fine, I've been walking for 5 mins now and seen many people, but this guy stops suddenly and turns around. Then, he starts walking towards me.

He was 185ish cm tall, very skinny, and had messy short black hair. He walked up to me and said «Hey, do you have 5 euros?». That's fine, I'm not a dick, I can give this guy 5 euros, whatever. I tell him I'm not broke, but I only have a 10 euro bill, so if he gives me a 5 euro bill, I'll give him the 10 euro bill. I was trying to see if he had a 5 euro bill on him because I didn't want to give away the little money I had.

He's like «No, no, I don't have a 5 euro bill». Alright, I thought nothing more of it and continued walking.

As I continued walking, I heard him walking behind me. I turned around and saw him, and he was following me. I didn't want to show him where I lived, so I kept walking in circles. I left the main road and took a side road, but he followed. He was walking very slowly, so I couldn't leave him behind.

I tried to call my boyfriend, but he didn't answer. I tried calling again and again, but he didn't answer. I sent him a text saying «Creepy guy following me, please call». He doesn't check his texts often and I didn't want to text «Call me, it's an emergency» just in case it wasn't, you know?

I kept walking and walking until the road turned into a forest. There were no houses around, just a forest. I turned around and walked into another road, and then he started walking faster. I turned around and he was walking at a normal pace again. It was as though he didn't want me to know he was following.

I was shaking and I didn't know what to do, I was so so so scared. I was shaking so bad I was having trouble holding onto my phone. I decided to call the police.

As I started calling the police, I saw a house and ran towards them, thinking I could knock on their door for help. I reached the door and tried to open it, but it was locked. I looked around, and the guy had followed. He wasn't trying to be subtle anymore, he was outright following me.

I started knocking on doors and windows, I was banging on them as loud as I could, and I was calling the police, but no one answered. A car pulled up and the guy ran away, and I asked the people in the car for help. They said I could come with them and they would take me to my house.

They were an older couple, they were really nice, and I felt safe. I thanked them a million times and they were really sweet. They asked what happened and I explained, and the lady was like «That's so creepy».

I thanked them a million times and the lady was like «Don't thank us, you're 20 and a little girl out at this time, we would want someone to do the same for our daughters too».

I got home safely, called my boyfriend, scolded him (even though it wasn't his fault lol), and wrote this. I'm just still so scared and I don't know, it felt so supernatural how that guy was following me everywhere. I've never felt afraid of men, and I still don't, but last night was different.

I don't know, maybe I shouldn't have left the main road, but at the time it didn't even cross my mind, my main thought was «I need to get away from him but I don't want to show him my house».

Anyway, crep guy following me, let's not meet again.
