My (24f) boyfriend (30m) got a spray tan without telling me. I think he is lying to me.

My boyfriend went on a trip with his friends last week. He had a good time and had some drinks. Everything seemed normal.<br>He got back home but yesterday he was super tan. I said oh nice, you got some colour. He said oh yeah. Then I noticed that his tan was too orange and even. I saw his tan lines but it wasn’t normal that he got his hands and feet tanned so I pulled his arm gently to check it. It was pale. I immediately knew he had gotten a tan but denied it.<br>I asked him and he said no. Then I said that he was acting strange and I felt like he was lying to me. So I am going to break up with him if he is lying. So he had to admit that he got a tan. He said it was a bit expensive but he did it for fun. He said he didn’t tell me because he thought I would laugh at him which confused me because I told him I would never do that.<br>I asked him if he got anything else done. And he said no but then he started to get really defensive. Like he was saying he didn’t get any waxing or massage done and I didn’t even ask him about it. It felt like he was hiding something. He said he just got a tan and nothing else and everything was fine. I am starting to feel bad because now I feel like I’m assuming he is lying even though I have no evidence. <br><br>I don’t understand why he would lie about something so harmless. Now I feel bad about him. Should I confront him about it or just let it go?<br><br>Tl;dr: My boyfriend got a spray tan without telling me. He denied it at first then admitted it after I threatened to break up with him. He keeps saying he didn’t get anything else done but I feel like he is lying. I feel bad for assuming he is lying but I don’t understand why he kept lying about something so harmless. What should I do?
