I know this question has been asked several times before, but I'm at my wit's end so I thought I'd try to get a different perspective, and maybe someone else who is in a similar situation as me will be able to relate.

I'm 22 and have still never had a job. I didn't do any extracurricular activities in school but I did volunteer for a couple of months but was kicked out for being late because I have sleep disorders and *can almost never get to sleep before 4am*.

I'm from a first generation Asian immigrant family, my parents own a kitchen (baby shower, housewarming, wedding events etc), and so naturally they wanted me to step in their shoes and help take over the business when they retire. But I hate cooking, and I hate the long hours, and the rude customers, and the responsibilities. I get migraines and panic attacks from the stress of it all, but they think if I work enough, I'll eventually "get used to it".

I've never had any dream job or career path in mind, I just want to do something stable and secure, what my parents consider to be a "respectable" job. But the job market is all about having prior experience, and my parents refuse to let me try out different jobs, so here I am, 22 and still unemployed.

TLDR: My parents want me to take over the family business, but I want to try out a stable job. I've never had a job and am unable to get one without job experience. How can I get a job without experience, or where can I get experience without a job?
