Hey guys! So I am writing a fantasy story and I need a little advice. I, the author, don't like one of my characters. He is my least favourite out of all the characters in the story. I have decided to express my dislike through the dialogue of other characters and I was wondering how to do that properly and efficiently.

For example, let's say that I want write a sentence like this one: "You're ugly, stupid, rude and obnoxious. Ewww, why are you even alive?" This sentence is a bit too on the nose and doesn't sound like a real insult. I am looking for something clever, something that will make the readers laugh and make them remember.

So, how to write a clever insult that actually sounds like a real insult rather than an expression of dislike from the author?

And I don't want to write a regular, run of the mill insult. I don't want to just call the character an idiot or a moron or anything like that. I, once again, want to write something clever, something that will show my character's intellect or lack thereof. Just calling him an idiot won't work.

For example, let's say that the character in question is a knight of the round table, he is a noble knight who is next in line to the throne. He is a chauvinist and is very obnoxious and rude. How would you write an insult towards this character that incorporates the fact that he is a chauvinist?

I don't know, I hope this made sense. I just want to make this character as unlikeable as possible. Thank you.
