Creating a Google account now requires tracking consent in the EU and UK

Google is changing its account setup process for EU and UK users. The update aims to comply with the EU Court of Justice ruling that found pre-ticked checkboxes for personal data processing invalid. Now, new users must actively consent to personalized advertising and tracking when creating a Google account.
