How many in a 300 sqft living room

I have so many bugs in the living room I just want to sell the house. I keep killing them but there is no signs of slowing down. I had someone in my house but they say it's a neighborhood problem. I don't want to sell but I just want to go outside and not see 10 bugs on me instantly. What is everyones situation like?
