I'm sorry to say it, but the left lost the cultural war.

Ok, so the title might be a bit clickbaity. I'm not saying we lost completely, but the momentum shifted towards the right now. If you don't believe me, just wait a few months when the world will enter the next economic crisis after the US election, and the consequences of the upcoming energy crisis will be more visible.

The only reason that the left was able to keep up with the rights' momentum is the momentum the BLM movement gained after the George Floyd incident. Now it's dying out, and with it, the momentum the left had is also dying out. It was a mistake from the left to rely on it so much, because once it's gone we can't go back to creating the same momentum again. Black people will be tired to go to protests, and the movement will slowly die out.

And then, the right will take over. The economic crisis will give them even more momentum, and soon they will take over. That's our reality.

I'm not saying all hope is lost, we still have a chance to change things. But all we can do now is to adapt to the changing environment, and try to do the best we can under the given circumstances.

Edit: To those who downvoted this post and commented with "but we won the election". Right, you won the battle, but lost the war. The current momentum will lead to you losing the next presidential election.
