The canceling of Johnny Depp instead of Amber Heard makes me feel like I'm taking crazy pills

Amber Heard explicitly admitted to hitting Johnny in a recording that was widely available, and everyone in the world knows that he lost his entire career because of what was very likely a false allegation. But now Amber is still working for a major brand, still has her entire career intact, and nobody talks about how she very likely fucked up Johnny's life.<br><br>In fact any discussion about this is quickly hijacked by people saying "we don't know what happened so we will never know", which is a weird way of saying "lets completely ignore all of the audio evidence that Amber abused Johnny and instead just act like Amber was a victim and that's why she had to do all of those interviews with her hair covering her eye to make us believe she had been hit."<br><br>It's insane that Amber still has a career, it's insane that she gets to talk about women's empowerment, it's insane that she's the spokesperson for a women's makeup brand.<br><br>It's not like I just don't like Amber and want her to go away, I don't like the fact that society at large is just ignoring this. I want Amber to go away because she is an abuser and a liar and she is still being celebrated by the same people that celebrate the downfall of her ex.
