Let's say a few things before I drop you the bomb:<br><br>- Catgirls are **WAY** less popular than they were in the early 2000's or even in 2008.<br>- Whenever catgirls do appear in anime, they aren't portrayed as "waifu-like" or even desirable.<br>- In general, this chamber is a bunch of people shitposting amongst each other.<br>- I have no idea where the hate for catgirls started, but I think it's mostly due to seeing them everywhere back at their peak popularity and being annoyed whenever something gets overly popular.<br><br>This sub is mostly for people who find catgirls annoying, but not necessarily hate them. There are plenty of catgirls that are considered to be lovable and not used as a "waifu", and it shows. The hate for catgirls has been dying out, and outside of what this chamber does to itself, people have forgotten about them.<br><br>Don't get me wrong, I have no problem with the people who do hate catgirls, but there's a large amount of people who have grown out of it. There are still some cringe catgirls out there, but a lot of them don't seem as problematic anymore. There are still plenty of great and lovable catgirls in media.<br><br>If you're mad that this sub is satirical, get a life.
