So what’s the deal with us being blessed with the gift of childbearing? Some blessings come with a curses and I think it’s really fucked up that this curse is so normalized.

I’m really tired of the whole narrative that we’re blessed with the gift of childbearing.

Childbirthing is excruciatingly painful, the pain is extreme enough that women can become disabled from it or die from it.

It’s been normalized that women just get their vaginas wrecked from child birthing and that the pain is just temporary, in reality it can be a permanent thing. A lot of women end up with vaginas that are too loose because their babies were too big and ended up destroying their vag walls.

Some women are literally unable to work after having children because the extreme pain they’re experiencing prevents them from walking or doing any activity at all. I’ve heard of women that are bedridden for months after having children because the pain makes it impossible for them to leave their bed.

Women that have had their vag walls destroyed during childbirth end up with a condition called vaginal prolapse. In which their vagina basically falls out.

Basically what I’m trying to say is that it’s fucked up that childbearing is regarded as a blessing and not a curse. There’s so many negatives to childbearing that society completely disregards.
