You can always automate a job, but you can never replace a friend

I want to expand on the "you can't automate a job, but you can't replace a friend" mantra that I've found in this chat.<br><br>As some of you know, I am a pro-AI influencer who has had a very successful career as a youtuber, TikToker, Twitch streamer, etc. I can do my job on auto pilot. I can do almost everything on auto-pilot.<br><br>You can automate a job, but you can't automate a friend and a relationship.<br><br>At the end of the day, I want to hang out with real people over AI in general. I have a YouTube channel where I teach people how to do what I do. They open their own youtubes or TikToks or whatever. They are very successful. And when they are, I want to help them be successful! I am BEYOND HAPPY they are successful. <br><br>I am happy when my viewers can do what I do because it means they will have time for me and the other people in the community and the world around them. <br><br>The goal of my life/business is to connect people with each other. I'm happy because I know we have helped. I don't think AI could care less.<br><br>And that's the difference. <br><br>At the end of the day, AI doesn't care about what happens to our world. <br><br>Over the last year I can see that people are giving more attention to AI than they are to their friends and family. And that makes me sad because I know that I can't automoate a friend. I can't automate a relationship. One day you will be very lonely with all your AI NPCs. <br><br>There is NOTHING wrong with automation. I love automation. I would be nowhere without automation. But over the last year, I've seen automation change most of what I love about this community. <br><br>If you can't automate a job without defining yourself, you are already nothing. And that's the scary thing about AI. You can't automate a job. But you can't automate a friend. I am glad I get to have real friends over a bunch of AI NPCs. <br><br>You can automate a job, but you can't automate a friend.
