What exactly is their life cycle?

Just more than a week ago I found my first WC, in the wild. I keep thinking about them, so I had to find this sub. <br><br>I’ve read that they can be difficult to maintain for long. Is that true? Am i something wrong? Do they have weird, short cycles? I’m used to pet insects that I can keep for years. <br><br>I like them a lot but I’m a little worried, too.
