Having a lot of trouble with a Python course

Hi everyone.
I've been doing a python course for about a year now. This course is from a well-known university but I'm finding a lot of trouble on it. It's not my first programming course (I've already done a Java course and I'm currently doing a TypeScript course), but I find this course has a very bad learning pace. The course is much more focused on the "theorical" aspect of the language, than in the practical one. I can hardly do any type of exercise without having to look it up on Google because of the lack of knowledge imparted by the course.

I've already completed 60% of the course and I still don't know how to do practical things like a CRUD with a database for example. Also, I don't have any idea of how to use virtual environments in Python or how to install packages.

I'm not sure if I should finish the course as I don't see it helping me at all. Also, I don't understand why this is happening as I've never had any type of trouble with my other two courses (the Java and TypeScript ones).

Thank you very much for your attention.
PD: Sorry if this is not the proper place to ask this.
