I think of this happenning in contemporary times. <br>For example, a conflict is going on right now in Daraa Syria that has nothing to do with the civil war, but is an insurgency which began in May 2023 with groups of former Southern Front fighters affiliated with the Free Syrian Army against the Syrian regime loyalist forces in the southern Syrian provinces of Daraa, Quneitra, and as-Suwayda, as well as the southern Hama region.
