Animes are so much better with a fun and engaging male lead character.

I'm enjoying myself way more when the male character is fun and engaging and not your typical shy anime male lead character. The male lead from 1984's Macross for example was very entertaining and made the show way more enjoyable. The show had a lot of drama and he was a big reason why the show was so much fun to watch. The show had romance, action, drama, comedy. <br><br>I'm sick of anime with male leads who are high school age with no personality and always talk about how their harem friends are so nice to them and all the girls are in love with him because he helped them with their upskirt or because he's "nicer" than the other guys.
