Sad news about one of our mods

Some of you may have noticed that one of our moderators, Comrade_Bruhler, has not been seen for more than 2 weeks. That's because the mod team was attempting to contact them to see if they were okay. We never received a response from them. We have just learned that Comrade_Bruhler has passed away. As you may know, they had been dealing with a terminal illness for the past few years, and had been very open about it with all of us. They were a very important member of our mod team, they were always there to help us make the right decisions regarding the sub. They also sometimes even helped us out in ways that most of you would not be aware of, in the DMs of banned users, or responding to people who messaged us mods directly. They even convinced me to become a mod, and I am pretty sure it was the same for a bunch of our other mods.<br><br>I know this may come as a shock to a lot of you, but when someone is in their early 20s and they are very open with the fact that they have a terminal illness, it's not a huge surprise that they would end up passing away at such a young age. I was close to them, but not close enough for me to know this exact information. I'm just guessing age based on the fact that they used the word "cybaby" a lot, which they told me was something they did in high school.<br><br>We will be doing a fundraiser for the kids for cancer charity, we will post more information about it in the coming days.
