ChatGPT.com is a bit of a lie "premium" experience

You know what always gets my blood boiling? The absolute BS that OpenAI spews and how the media eats it up every time. Since I'm using ChatGPT.com, I'm supposedly getting the "premium" experience, supposedly the best model they have on me. Fast forward to me using it for simple mental math to do some budgeting.

**COST.** The cost of me using the "premium" experience of chatgpt (i.e. "plus") is what, approximately what? Ballpark estimate... $20? Actively using that premium chatgpt for the last 2 hours. It costs approximately $10/month (around 55 hours), so that's a pretty rough estimate...

... and I PAY that premium, and then I am literally asking the chat for the last 5 minutes (with at least 50/60 messages sent), and it can't seem to do simple arithmetic? In fact, I asked it a few questions, and the answers were JUST WRONG. Not only does it not understand the context of what I am asking, it can't even do mathematics for some super simple scenarios.

**MATH**. Here is an example:

Me: If I have $5 and I spend $2 on a burrito and $3 on a taco, how much food did I buy?

ChatGPT: $5 - $2 - $3 = $0. You still have $5 left.

This is your premium experience that costs you around $10/month and gives you **0%** accuracy on mental math while also being super slow.

Honestly, I am extremely disappointed by what I am seeing and if I didn't know any better, I would say that the tech media is in the pocket of OpenAI. Not only is it slow, but when it comes to AI, it literally can't do ANYTHING. I'm starting to think that OpenAI has been doing a lot of embellishing and outright lying when it comes to their technology and all of the media outlets are buying it.

When I’ve reported what I see to the media outlets, I get no response, which makes me think that they are in the pocket of OpenAI. I’m not sure what to think about it.
