Face the truth, being overweight is unattractive and unhealthy.

I wanted to come to the greatest repository of cognitive dissonance and self delusion and talk with his wonderful community. I'm a man in his late 20's and I used to be overweight myself. I was always denied, and I blamed the world for it and believed that skinny shaming was just as bad as skinny privilege. I had always been a chubby, socially awkward kid. I was bullied in school, so it just made me more introverted. I don't have a problem with anyone's body shape but I know that I don't find over weight women attractive at all. I went to the gym, did a lot of bodybuilding and I got shredded. Then I started trying to date. Some people lose their virginity at 16, some 18-22, I lost mine at 26. It was with a 5'2 120 pound woman, she was sort of petite and I thought she was attractive. It was fun for the first couple of times but then I resented myself for having to "settle" on someone I didn't really find attractive. I then started dating other people from all shapes and sizes and I realized that I learned to appreciate men a lot more. I was still sexually attracted to women but I just couldn't find any that I was really attracted to so I started going out with more masculine guys. I started dating a 6'2 mixed black guy who is 180 pounds. He's very hot.

Now, I'm going to sound like a very shallow person but I just believe in being completely honest. I know this is the greatest offense and many people will hate me for it but I'm going to do it anyway because I'm not afraid of offending people. I know that the body positivity movement is just a complete bunch of bull shit. Our bodies are supposed to work correctly and be functional, a person who is overweight is prone to thousands of diseases. They are more likely to die by a heart attack, a stroke or cancer. We can blame the food industry and everything we want to but we have the power to choose. We're not victims, we can choose to either be couch potatoes or go out to the gym. Even if you don't have time to go to the gym. There are better alternatives. For example, a sandwich is not better than a salad. I know that you guys have a strong resentment towards fit people and you view them as enemies but many of us just want to live healthily and enjoy our lives to the fullest. That's all.
