Let's assume we all started to be interested in languages at the age of 16.

Now, chances are that most of you guys are somewhere between 16-40 y.o. How long do you realistically think you're gonna be able to have "fun" with languages? 10 years? 20 years?

I have been interested in languages for 7 years and it's slowly becoming a chore. Sure I'm older by 7 years, have more responsibilities, it's normal for a hobby to not be as fun as it was in the beginning. But for how long can we realistically keep this hobby without burning out? Do you guys see yourself being polyglots in your 50s, 60s and 70s?
