My wife doesn’t understand why I hate Aniplex edition blu-Rays

Hi guys I am a long time anime fan. I have talked with my wife extensively about this before. She doesn’t understand why I hate these blu-Rays Aniplex, Funimation, and Sentai put out. They are disgusting. Expensive for what you get, bulky sets that take up to much space, terrible designs and the quality is poor. I don’t know how much more I can tolerate these sets coming into my home. I love anime, she loves anime. But she doesn’t understand the struggle of owning blu-Rays. I get physicals because digital doesn’t exist in my world but digital is so much better than these pricy blu-Rays of shit quality. The cartoon has become a cartoon. I don’t know what to do. I don’t want anymore blu-Rays. I don’t want anymore anything. I am so sick of the modern anime industry I am sick of everything. I’m going to go cry now this has been weighing on my mind for years. <br><br>Edit: thanks for the replies everyone. You don’t understand how comforted I am knowing I’m not the only one who hates them. They are gross. Yes I know I can just not buy them but my wife doesn’t understand and doesn’t see a problem with them. She loves anime but doesn’t care how they come. She just wants the core product no matter the quality. I don’t know how to make her understand how much it bugs me.
