Laws are as temporary as morals.

I often see posts referring to laws that are preventing AI from reaching its full potential. However, laws are just that, laws. And they can be changed, or entirely disregarded and broken. Look at any country and you will likely find some sort of corruption as it happens with morals as well. Laws are being broken all the time since enforcement is never 100%. This is something to keep in mind when considering laws as safeguards for our future.
