A few questions about my white dress shirt.

As a "man", I need help. <br><br>I have a white dress shirt and I can't decide what color shoes I should wear with it. This is a common problem for me. <br><br>The shirt is just a basic white linen and the belt is tan leather. Aesthetically, I think brown shoes would match nicely but I still have a feeling that with a white shirt I should go with black shoes. Why is that?
