Right now, we should focus on respectful disagreement

It doesn’t matter what side you’re on politically. We all have reasons to disagree with each other over what happened. The most important thing is that our disagreement and sadness must be expressed with respect.<br><br>We can’t force everyone to see things from our point of view, nor should we force our political opponents to not see things from their point of view. The attack here was on democracy, and democracy needs open discussion between those with differing views.<br><br>Our democracy can’t survive if we don’t have a way to disagree respectfully.
