I used to work behind the-register at a store.

One day, store management was short-staffed.

And I was "voluntold" that I had to work that day.

To punish me for not showing up, they docked me an extra day's worth of pay.

Later that day, management decided to get even *more* lazy.

This time, it was my bad luck to be assigned to restock the soda.

The soda fridge was behind the employee door.

And the employees didn't bother to lock it.

Every shift, I would sneak a soda on my way out to restock them.

It was my little way of getting back at them for docking my pay.

I always made sure to drink it on my lunch break.

And never told anyone else what I was doing.

Continuing on, a few weeks later, I'm about to have my review.

And I just don't want to be there anymore.

So, at the end of my shift, I steal every single soda.

I even enlisted the help of my co-workers in my heist.

It was quite the scene, with a whole crew of people secretly lugging soda out the employee door.

All of us laughing and drinking free soda.

I never went back to that shift again.

And I never got caught.

That's it.

That's the story.

Edit: Wow, this blew up.

Thanks for all the up-votes, everyone.
