My girlfriend won't eat in front of me, is this a red flag?

I'm in a new relationship, and she dropped something that's really bothering me, and I was wondering if I should be concerned.<br><br>So she told me that she's, what she calls, "a big girl." Which is fine with me. She really isn't all that big, but she's said it.<br><br>I've noticed though that she very rarely eats in front of me, and when we order food, she wants her food separately.<br><br>So weeks later she finally admitted to me that the reason why she doesn't eat in front of me is because she's afraid of my judgement.<br><br>Now she's American, and I'm native Irish, so she's worried that a "potato farmer" will judge her for eating. Which is quite silly, of course. But still, she won't eat in front of me, and only when I've left the room or she's alone will she eat.<br><br>I've told her countless times that I don't judge her, and that's also why I'm here.<br><br>So is this something I should be concerned about? Should I worry that she thinks I'm gonna judge her for eating? Is this a red flag? I'm just so confused as to what to do. <br><br>Thanks.
