Before we start this post, let's get one thing straight: the concept of "Brain Rot" is fucking bullshit. It's an obvious, disgusting attempt by people like Sabrina to blame perceived mental health issues on a lack of porn. Think AceMarine's boot-licking, but as a porn addiction apology.

With that said, let's look at what "Brain Rot" even is. You're supposed to believe that porn is the root of all evil, corrupting young minds and turning people into some kind of hypersexualized husk. That porn is the reason why people are so depressed and isolated. That porn addiction (and the internet as a whole) is the root of all modern society's problems.

Why? Because people won't engage with the "real world" when they have the internet to spend their time on. Why? Because humans have a natural tendency to engage with pleasurable activities, and the internet is chock full of them. Video games, porn, social media, and other "vices" are like this because they hijack cognitive functions that make people feel happy and relaxed.

That's basically what "Brain Rot" is trying to tell us: the internet is a magical realm that brainwashes people into its clutches, turning them into antisocial, filthy porn addicts. Let's debunk this myth once and for all.

The real problem lies with how we understand mental health and human behavior. We have an unhealthy tendency to assume that people engaging in pleasurable activities will inevitably act out in self-destructive, addictive behavior. That somehow, because of how they spend their time, they're creating their own problems. Humans have a strong tendency to engage with pleasurable activities, mainly because it makes them happy.

The real problem lies with how our society approaches mental health. Rather than just shaming porn, social media, or video games, we should look at things from a more nuanced perspective: why are people engaging in these things? Do they have any other hobbies in their lives? Are they actually engaging in self-destructive behavior?

The incredibly stupid thing about "Brain Rot" is that people think the internet is an isolated issue. That somehow, just because it's the internet, it's inherently more corrupting than other media. But that's just not true, because it's the internet itself that's the problem. It's not an isolated issue, because it's a part of our lives; we use it for everything, whether it's for social media, work, or entertainment.

So, the next time you see some idiot spouting about how "Brain Rot" is the root of all modern society's problems, just tell them to fuck off. The most sexually repressed and porn-hating societies are the ones with the most sexual assault, marital rape, and other fucked up behaviors.

The internet is not some kind of magic curse, it's just a tool. It's not inherently corrupting, and "Brainwashed Rot" is just a bunch of industrialist corporate propaganda to justify the erasure of our freedoms online.
