After years of shopping at places like Ross, TJ Max, H&M, Forever 21, etc, I decided to stop buying from them, and now I finally feel like I have my act together.

The past year I've focused on improving my wardrobe quality and now I feel so confident in my clothes, and actually have the money to afford quality stuff. I don't have to visit the mall every 2 weeks to find something new to wear.

I used to get anxious about buying expensive clothes, but I realized I'm spending way more money buying 3-4 cheap shirts over 1 quality one. I also realized I spend my money on clothes I don't really like, and I end up "getting rid" of it in a year or less.

I feel like I'm not really focused on looks anymore, I'm not so much worried about dressing trendy and wearing the latest things out, I'm more focused on what makes me comfortable and what I feel good in.

It's funny, I can still do all my everyday activities, and I feel good about it too. My quality of life has not changed, but somehow my life feels so much better. I realized I'm not as influenced by what people think about how I dress anymore, I feel like I'm finally able to choose what I want to wear and not what society or modern clothes trends say is popular.

I've been tempted a few times to go to the cheap clothes store, but the thought of going through racks of not-so-good quality clothes just doesn't appeal to me anymore. I'm way too happy and content with my wardrobe now, and I feel so proud of myself.

Edit: Thank you everyone for all these comments, I really appreciate all your kind words. I'm glad I could inspire some people, I feel like finally knowing what works for me has made my life so much easier, and it feels amazing to hear I helped change someone's mind.
