The Glass Dome and the Void Beyond - A Novel (and a new project)

---<br><br>I’ll be taking a small hiatus from writing on my current project, The Witch of the Fields, because I’ve had an idea for a brand new novel that I want to get written out. The working title is The Glass Dome and the Void Beyond.<br><br>**the glass dome and the void beyond**<br><br>The world is a dense jungle. Animals with fangs and claws hide in every corner. They’re stronger and smarter than we are. We can’t survive on our own. We need to live in a place where the animal hordes can’t reach us. A place where we can be safe.<br><br>The only sanctuary from the jungle is the city, surrounded by a glass dome that keeps the animal hordes out. A dome built by our ancestors. It’s an ancient relic and our only barrier to the horrors of the world beyond.<br><br>---<br><br>It’s apocalyptic fiction with a lot of horror and sci-fi elements. I have a lot of confidence in this story, mostly because it’s so fun. I think I’ll be able to keep creating for a really long time. The story is still in its infancy, but I’ve already got enough material to keep me going for a while. I think it’s a good idea to get it written out as soon as I can. It’s going to be a great story.<br><br>And don’t worry, The Witch of the Fields isn’t cancelled. I just need to focus on this new story right now. I’ll be releasing more Witch of the Fields chapters. Until then, I’ll be working on The Glass Dome and the Void Beyond. And don’t forget to spread the word about my first two books, The Dead and the Silent and River of Souls.
